This week, soldiers from the “Netzah Yehuda” battalion of the Nahal Haredi packed about 4,500 parcels of Pesach products, to be distributed to soldiers who receive supplementary family payments and those who live in apartments maintained by the “Soldiers’ Welfare Association” around the country.
Taking part in the packing project were soldiers from the battalion’s operations and command units, who packed UHT (long life) milk, matza, oil, canned goods, wine, matza ball mix, coffee and, of course, a Pesach haggadah.
“The soldiers came full of motivation to make an effort to assist their comrades,” said the organizers. “They worked round the clock in order to finish packing all the items within three days, the time they had set themselves.” One of the soldiers who took part in the project added, “We view this activity as being of major importance.”
